THE TIN MAN worked on the grass for the first time in 2017 and looked to be thoroughly enjoying himself. He is not an exuberant worker but it was good to take him somewhere different as he has been kept on the Al Bahathri for all his work so far this year. The work took place on the Watered Gallop on Racecourse Side and he really came alive. Tom Queally rode him and he was very happy with him. All being well he is likely to take his place in the Duke of York this day next week. He does have entries in The Temple Stakes and The Greenlands Stakes at The Curragh but I think James is keen to run him at York.
