PTARMIGAN RIDGE gave his syndicate members much to be excited about after his first run on Saturday.  He was unable to run as a two year old but made up for his belated start by running an excellent first race beaten just a neck by Alaadel a well bred Pivotel colt of William Haggas’s.  I think if the winning post had come a couple of strides later he would nearly have won.

He is a charming horse who just want s to please the whole time.  He loves being turned out and is rather pleased with himself having run so well in his first race.  Certainly at the moment we wont be able to run him on any ground that has firm in the description.

THE TIN MAN has come out of his Duke of York run in good form and looks great.  All being well and with no mishaps he will head to The Diamond  Jubilee now.

MAGICAL DREAMER is heading to Leicester a week tomorrow for a fillies only handicap.  We were disappointed with her at Doncaster and hope she can repay our confidence in her next week.
