This is one of the busiest weeks of the year.  We have the Breeze Up Sales as well as The Craven Meeting and all the owners come out of hibernation as they can sense some action after a long cold, wet winter.

James will be up watching the horses ‘Breeze’ at the racecourse later this morning (Monday).  The Breeze Up Sales have beena bit hit and miss this year.  The top end of the market still seems to be very hot but it seems that a lot did not sell at the bottom end.  The Newmarket Breeze Up Sales always seem quite popular so maybe people have been saving their money for these.

FRED ARCHER RACING will hopefully have two runners at Kempton on Wednesday.  MASTER ARCHER will definitely run in the two mile handicap and we hope that PTARMIGAN RIDGE will run in the seven furlong handicap but he needs a few to come out yet.  MASTER ARCHER deserves a win having finished second in his last five runs on the flat.  His coat looks great and he seems in good form so we hope for another good run from him.  PTARMIGAN RIDGE has taken a little time to come to himself but just in the last week seems to be coming to himself.  He doesnt mind how soft it is on the turf but he has run well on the all weather also.  He won his last race well on bottomless ground at Leicester.  We had hoped to start him off their again this year but the meeting was cancelled.

We were pleased with EXCELLERATION at Lingfield on Wednesday as he did everything right.  It was only a four horse race and the two who went off in front went quite a sedate pace and sprinted to the line in the last couple of furlongs.  Our fella wasn’t sure what to do but he was doing all his best work at the finish.  He still hasn’t come in his coat yet and is still a baby.

None of our horses worked on Saturday but SOCIETY PRINCE and MAGICAL DREAMER quickened up the hill together.  Our two two year old fillies are coming along nicely.  EXCELLED is a little bit more forward than ARCHER’S DREAM but we are delighted with both.

Our Two Year Old Excelleration filly EXCELLED with Paige who also looks after her.
