LORD GEORGE ran an excellent race on Saturday to finish third even though the race was not run to suit him.  It felt more like a mile and a quarter than a mile and a half as it was a very sedate early pace.  Next time we are going to go further with him as he is always running on at the end of a race.  He has been a lovely horse to be involved with as he has only been unplaced once in his career.

THE TIN MAN left for York at mid-day today (Tuesday 16th) before his run in the Duke of York tomorrow.  He looks great but is very lazy at home.  We are more hopeful than confident of a successful run. He is quite a character and a wonderful horse to have in the yard.  Most of his owners will be at York tomorrow.
