MASTER ARCHER has come out of his race well and looks great. James is going to give him a bit more time to get over his race as he had two quite close together. At the moment no firm plans for him.
MAGICAL DREAMER has had her implants to stop her coming into season and we have put a hood on her and she looks very happy with the world and I have not seen her swishing her tail this week. If we can get her doing everything in the right order we could have some fun as she has plenty of talent. James mentioned there is a fillies only race at the end of the month. This will give us plenty of time to do some more stalls training with her.
LORD GEORGE looks very very well and has an entry at Ascot on Saturday. He will not run unless they get some rain and he will have top weight. He worked nicely on Saturday on the Cambridge Road Polytrack his Norwegian Owners Ulf Ryden and Arne Korsbakken were out to see him. If he misses this we might try him over two miles at Newcastle to see if he stays.
PTARMIGAN RIDGE is just ticking over until we can find him a race. He does have an entry at Nottingham at the weekend but it is likely to be too firm for him unless we get a lot of rain. We definitely cannot give a second thought of running him on any ground that isn’t good or softer. I suspect we may have to start him off on the all weather. Apparently the only race for him in the future, if we are unable to run at Nottingham, is at Wolverhampton in a couple of weeks time.
THE TIN MAN worked well on the Al Bahathri on Saturday with Tom Queally riding. Tom & James seemed very happy with him. He got two more early closing races this morning. He got entries in The 5f Temple Stakes at Haydock on the 27th May and The 6f Darley July Cup on July 15th. It would be his first effort over 5f if he ran in the Temple Stakes. Certainly at the moment it isn’t the plan to run him in it but is more of a back up if he is unable to run at York.
All the two year olds are doing two canters now. SOCIETY PRINCE is now able to do his second one on Warren Hill. THE PINTO KID did a good strong canter and joined up on the Al Bahathri second lot on Saturday. He has turned a corner and is doing everything properly now and we are very happy with him. Both EXCELLERATION and SPANISH ARCHER are doing two nice canters, most days, on Warren Hill and coming along well.
